Service Description

For Dogs older than 6 Months Old GROUP TRAINING Our Group Training is geared for owners looking for intermediate to advanced obedience training with their dog. Your dog should already have some basic obedience skills to be successful in this group class. We understand having a busy life, so our flexible booking schedule allows you to book as many as you like on the days that suit you best. WHAT? Practice your dogs foundational obedience skills, engagement and leash techniques while strengthening your bond with your dog. WHERE? Herm Williams Park WHEN? See Our booking calendar for upcoming sessions! Sessions are seasonal from March - November EQUIPMENT? - Dogs must be on a 6ft leash - Brings a 15-30ft leash - A collar with a current ID tag (slip leashes, prong collars, remote collars, gentle leaders and muzzles are acceptable if handler and dog have been trained on proper and appropriate use) - Back clip harnesses & retractable leashes are not allowed for safety reasons. REWARDS? You can bring treats or toys for your dog, however be mindful of how and when you use them, not in proximity to other dogs. Bring some water for you and your dog if it is hot out. SAFETY? The goal is to keep every person and dog safe, so maintaining distance between dog and handler teams is crucial, unless otherwise instructed. On sidewalks and roads dogs need to be “up short but slack on the leash”. Handlers need to wear comfortable foot wear and weather appropriate clothing. PLEASE NOTE: Owners and their dogs are participating at their own risk. RESPECT We are all in this together, as a group we are here to encourage and support each other and all of the dogs. No one should feel embarrassed if their dog acts out our purpose is to help them learn new ways of coping and alternate behaviors. All of our classes are designed to include reactive dogs.
