Service Description

Where Fun Meets Functionality ​ REQUIREMENTS - Proof of first 2 sets of vaccinations required at start of class - Dogs under 6 months old - Maximum 2 people per dog allowed - Dog must have an empty stomach to prevent the risk bloat BOOKING - Book online - Maximum 6 spots available Enjoy personalized coaching as you and your puppy take turns practicing polite greetings and playful interactions. With a focus on understanding body language and fostering appropriate interactions, our small class size ensures individual attention and support. While your puppy waits, we'll focus on skills like settling and engagement, strengthening your puppy's confidence and ability to be neutral to distractions. Our approach emphasizes the importance of teaching puppies to be neutral yet confident in various social settings, striking a healthy balance between interaction and independence. GOOD FOR - All training stages - Dogs under 6 months old WHERE Colwood/Langford (see booking calendar for specific information) WHEN See our booking calendar for upcoming sessions! WHAT TO BRING - Dogs must be on a 6ft leash - A collar/harness with a current ID tag - Water - Rewards (toy or food) SAFETY - Maintaining distance between dog and handler teams is crucial, unless otherwise instructed - On sidewalks and roads dogs need to be “up short but slack on the leash” - Handlers need to wear comfortable foot wear and weather appropriate clothing - Please be mindful of how and when you use rewards (not in proximity to other dogs) DON"T FEEL EMBARRASSED We are all in this together, as a group we are here to encourage and support each other and all of the dogs. No one should feel embarrassed if their dog acts out, is reactive or shy our purpose is to help them learn new ways of coping and alternate behaviors.

Cancellation Policy

The owner of the dog(s) may postpone their Group Training program and receive a full refund or credit provided 1 weeks notice is given to the Focus K9 before the program start date. Failure to give Focus K9 the appropriate notice of a cancellation will result in the Focus K9 counting said failure as completed and owner will be charged in full. No refunds are available once a session or class has started.
