Our program goes beyond traditional dog training—it combines socialization with training techniques that we teach our owners in our other private training programs but at a more affordable price. Gain confidence to handle your reactive dog whether on a leisurely walk or an adventurous trail. Delve into tailored exercises and skill building while also experiencing gradual exposure techniques designed to gently desensitize your dog to triggers, while instilling healthier social responses. To ensure a safe learning environment, it's important to maintain a respectful distance between your dog and other handler teams, unless otherwise directed by the instructor. Dogs with a history of aggression, nipping, or mouthing must be muzzle-trained, and owners are required to bring the muzzle to each class. PLEASE NOTE: Owners and their dogs are participating at their own risk. DON"T FEEL EMBARRASSED No one should feel embarrassed if their dog acts out and is reactive, our purpose is to help them learn new ways of coping and alternate behaviors.
Cancellation Policy
Focus K9 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy At Focus K9, we strive to offer flexibility while ensuring the best possible training experience for all clients. Please review our cancellation and rescheduling policy to avoid unnecessary charges. Cancellations & Rescheduling: Full Refund: Adjustments can be made at least 7 days prior to the course start date are eligible for a full refund or credit. No Refund: Adjustments made less than 7 days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund or credit. Rescheduling: Before Course Start: You may request to reschedule to a later course up to 7 days before the original course start date, subject to availability. After Course Start: Once a course has begun, rescheduling is not permitted. However, you may be able to make up missed sessions depending on availability within future group courses. No-Show & Missed Sessions: Unfortunately, due to the structure of our group courses, we cannot offer make-up sessions, refunds or credits for individually missed classes. However, if a participant misses a class, we’ll do our best to provide notes or materials from the missed session so you can stay up to date with the rest of the course. Emergencies are dealt with on a case by case basis. Thank you for understanding and helping us provide a smooth and beneficial training experience for all participants!
