Calm & Confident

Offered Seasonally

A small-group behaviour course for reactive and overexcited dogs.

Details

This 6-week Group Course blends behavioural training and structured socialization to address leash frustration, including barking, lunging, pulling toward dogs or people, and overexcitement during walks. Adapted from the same exclusive curriculum used in our private behavioural programs, this course offers personalized guidance in a supportive small-group environment.

You’ll learn how to safely desensitize your dog to common triggers, reduce emotional reactivity, and build confidence through controlled exposure. With clear instruction, step-by-step exercises, and a predictable structure, this course provides an affordable pathway for owners needing behavioural support without the cost of private training.

Safety
Dogs of all temperaments are welcome to our classes including fearful, reactive and aggressive dogs. To ensure a safe learning environment, it's important to maintain a respectful distance between your dog and other handler teams, unless otherwise directed by the instructor. Dogs with a history of aggression, nipping, or mouthing must be muzzle-trained, and owners are required to bring the muzzle to each class.

Please Note: Owners and their dogs are participating at their own risk.

Don't Be Embarassed!

No one should feel embarrassed if their dog acts out and is reactive, our purpose is to help them learn new ways of coping and alternate behaviors.
