Public Manners
Everything you need to help get you started with advanced obediene around real world distractions and off leash control.

Focused Heeling
This lesson focuses on teaching you how to train an advanced, focused heel — a powerful skill for navigating real-world environments with confidence on or off leash. You’ll learn how to build and maintain engagement through high-level distractions such as people, dogs, wildlife, and moving objects. We’ll break down the mechanics of rewarding attention, managing pace changes, and using body language and leash communication to reinforce precision and control.

Stay & Settle
We focus on how to train a calm dog who can settle in a variety of environments for when you want to take your dog to a patio or on a camping trip. We also practice building duration with your stay and place commands while your dog is on a tether. Additionally, we discuss how to phase out food rewards, as over-reliance on treats can lead to an unsettled or overly dependent dog over time.

Off Leash Control
This lesson focuses on building reliable off-leash skills using a long line. You’ll learn proper long line handling, including managing tension, positioning, and preventing tangling, to set the stage for safe freedom. We’ll work on encouraging calm neutrality around distractions, capturing your dog’s engagement, and utilizing the previous skills we've worked on to help you fade your dogs leash — even around food or playful dogs. You'll also learn real-world expectations for off-leash areas and how to keep your dog responsive and focused at a dog park.
