Details
This guided on-leash training walk provides structured practice for improving your dog’s polite walking, neutrality, and focus around real-world distractions. During this group-style walk, you’ll move through a local park with varied trail environments while receiving coaching on handling your leash, maintaining engagement, and reinforcing calm behaviour around other dogs and people.
All dogs are kept safely apart at all times and do not interact with one another. Throughout the walk, we pause for controlled “pass-by exercises,” allowing each team to practice walking past other dogs at a safe distance, reducing overexcitement, pulling, and reactivity in a predictable and supportive environment.
This service is ideal for owners wanting structured practice, clearer leash mechanics, or help reinforcing neutrality and calm behaviour on walks.

Safety
Dogs of all temperaments are welcome to our classes including fearful, reactive and aggressive dogs. To ensure a safe learning environment, it's important to maintain a respectful distance between your dog and other handler teams, unless otherwise directed by the instructor. Dogs with a history of aggression, nipping, or mouthing must be muzzle-trained, and owners are required to bring the muzzle to each class.
Please Note: Owners and their dogs are participating at their own risk.
Don't Be Embarassed!
No one should feel embarrassed if their dog acts out and is reactive, our purpose is to help them learn new ways of coping and alternate behaviors.
