Leadership & Communication

Focusing on introducing marker words, boundaries and house rules to your puppy. We also practice how to calmly introduce your puppy to new people. We discuss any problem behaviours you are struggling with which is tailored to the owner. All of our problem behaviour resources are above.

Loose Leash Walking

Focusing on introducing the leash and how to follow leash pressure, an important step to prevent future leash frustration and pulling/choking. We also practice how to find the heel position. We discuss how choosing the right walking equipment for your specific dog is key for success in adolecence.

Impulse Control

Focusing on impluse control to ensure your dog stays safe. Whether it's counter surfing, drop it or teaching them how to be neutral, we cover 2 exercises tailored to your dog. We also practice how to capture impulse control to create a solid foundation for future off leash control.

Basic Obedience

Focusing on introducing how to teach your dog obedience commands. We typically focus on recall, down and stay (as most owners have "sit"nailed. However we tailor each session to the owner. We practice applying the theory of training verbal and visual commands for your dog and how to handle a 15ft leash safely and efficiently for recall training.

Socialization

Focusing on appropriate and functional socialization for your specific dog. Our goal is to help you create a balanced dog that is not overly or underly friendly but calm and confident. This means we tailor your session based on if your dogs temperament is overly or underly friendly. We practice exposing and socializing your dog in public spaces while teaching you about dog body language.
